Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 27⁰ here this morning, heading towards 68⁰, clear. Heading to work 6AM-6PM. Maybe take Miz Carol out for dinner when I get off, it's the Queen of Goat Town birthday today. We celebrated with friends Thursday night and I surprised her with these earrings...she lost one of her single diamond earrings a few weeks ago, we took the remaining one by the jewelry store, they are going to make a new one to match. Told them I wanted to get a pair for her to wear now. She liked these, but picked out a really cheap pair that had her birthstone.
Saleslady told her to go sit down so I could decide...lol...
She literally cried at the table Thursday when she opened these, she had no idea I had gotten them...

Not much on today's to-do. Some grocery shopping.

My upcoming winter camping trip, is next weekend. Some more prep. Time to check various batteries.

We'll be heading out to eat for Valentine's Day.

Good morning. 25 now, heading for 50 today. Heading to the lake to fish and then pull off the fish house. The ice is 24” thick, but the landing ice where we drive on is getting rutted and soft.

 

Good FHC morning.

No idea how 99 wishes to observe the day. Every time I ask, she says wait until our anniversary nest week.

That'll work as I'm scheduled for 4 new tires on my SUV that same day......

It’s snowing; it’s Valentine’s Day. I don’t like crowds, overpaying and waiting in line. So my beautiful bride makes us brunch. She picks plants for flower gardens i buy them we plant them in spring.. chocolates go on sale tomorrow…reminder

Morning all. Just above freezing this morning but no frost. Looks to be a partially sunny day.

Sure glad the week is over. It has been an up and down week. I will be working a bit next week as well.

Agape refers to a pure, willful, sacrificial love that intentionally desires another’s highest good. How to explain the love that God has for us? Words are not quite adequate. God's love for us is at time beyond our comprehension yet he gives us examples that we can relate to.

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! Isaiah 49:15

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:16

And an expression of the ultimate love of God is John 3: 16, 17

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Today, take time to tell someone that God loves them.
