Got my last section of wall started, and some strapping ran on a couple others.

    We did. Upper 20's even.

I cut up all the long pieces down to 17" and now I'll ready to split it all. The splitter however is at the point that it needs to have the carb taken off and cleaned and probably the h tree linkages fixed/ replaced because I've of the piano wire linkages got lost. It would issue for a little, then die.

I'll take the splitter into our local small engine guy after I take the splitter to my buddy's that has garage space to work on it out of the weather. The small engine guy down the road from him like an 1/8th mile is inexpensive. If I just take him the carb he'll do it for 20 bucks.

The linkages might be a couple more dollars.

It's due for an oil change too.

Now, to get it on the trailer. I nearly had it myself with ramps and a 3" diameter branch used as a lever. The stupid pump bracket hung up on the trailer and then it slid off the ramps. No harm no foul, but I gave up. All that effort and almost accomplished, only to end up defeated. I'll get one of my coworkers to swing by after work and we'll get it on the trailer then to take to my buddy's.

Went sledding at a local hill with some of the family today. Was upper 20s and sunny. Great day for it and a good turnout.

I drove to Baltimore today. Watched the temperature slowly climb to a sweltering 28* from 14* when I left Akron. First time in two weeks I saw temperatures above 20.

It got cloudy and began snowing last night so we couldn't see the full moon. Throughout the night time hours, the clouds did thin some so we ended up with some lighting from the moon.

The 3 or so previous nights were extremely bright thanks to no cloud cover.

I woke up and it seemed really bright outside so I though it was time to get up. Looked at the clock and it was 2:45.

USPS has delivered mail twice in the past 10 days. I have some parts I'm dying for to come in and they still have 2 stops left before they hit the local post office. It might be 2 more weeks before I get them at this rate. We got 8" of snow last weekend, not hit by a meteor.

I'm debating if I should shove some of that 2" of snow we got. Probably not.

Went to install my garage door opener in the shop this morning and realized I don't have enough head space for the rail. I'm going to have to go with one of those direct drive side mount units. Grr.

They do make low clearance head space garage door openers, ya know....
