    Good morning, members.

Cold and calm. 7⁰/22⁰ sunny day

Keeping an eye on the next storm. "Winter Storm Gianna". It'll get here Sunday. They know it'll be a big, intensifying Nor'easter. What is not known, is how close to shore it'll be. Hoping it goes as far east as possible.

Haven't brought wood to the deck rack, since Sunday, before the last storm hit. So, I'll be bringing wood to the house.

Planning to go do some bulk shopping and fill a gas can at BJ's. I'll probably come home with a rotisserie chicken. Hello chicken soup!

    Be safe
    Be healthy

OK. Those notifications via email stopped a long time ago. I really missed them but learned to just live with it. Sorry.

Not much going on today. Guess I'll be breaking in my new office chair. It is comfortable plus has both heat and massage.

So, nobody gets any type of notifications anymore without going to the website and checking?

It has always been that I had to log in before I could see any updates.

Let it be clear though, that I only use the laptop for FHC.

I couldn't imagine what a PIA it would be for me to use the phone for that and what a larger PITA it would be to receive notifications on the phone!

It isn't important to be notified whenever someone else responds to a thread I participate in. Who needs that? I can wait until I log in.

    :handshake:

I only get alerts when I'm on the site. Works for me!

I get enough emails as it is.

I only use my phone. I liked getting the notifications, especially if it was a PM. Also it was a reminder to check in.

Morning all. Dark out there but I know it will probably rain today. It did all day yesterday except on the ride home from prayer meeting.

When making breakfast yesterday morning, I found the paint all coming off the bottom of the microwave. Apparently you can't use it like that. So campinspecter did some research and we headed out to buy another one. Rain one the way down and rain on the way back. Just no rain while shopping. Bonus.

Today will be busy doing what we didn't get done yesterday. We have to put firewood in the basement to run the boiler and just before leaving for prayer meeting, our last load of firewood arrived. It was supposed to be a half load. Well, the supplier was a little generous so we are going to have to find a place to put it all. Good problem to have I guess.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone! -9 and windy. I don't think we've hit bottom yet. Feed the fire is the plan of the day.

My wife's car has heated seats. First vehicle we've had with them. I kinda thought they were a little much until I tried it. OMG does it ever feel good, especially on the back.

    Good morning, members.

Another cold day. 6⁰/14⁰ sunny. Bright moon lighting/reflecting off the snowpack. Full moon Sunday.

I got the rotisserie chicken carcass boiled down. Chicken soup will be a go for later.

Still. Relocating snow here-n-there. I'll dig access to the bird feeders, and to a flagpole that has the flag hanging by one grommet.

No complaints with Sunday's weather event moving further east. Coastal areas will have heavy surf.

    Be warm
