I wonder how much more it'll drop before the turn around?

10* feels like -1. Family room is 75* with the stove's blower on low. House will be much cooler when I get home from work.

-16/69 had to do a cold start for the first time in a long time. I guess I didn’t turn the air down enough last night. Oh well, a few pieces of kindling under a full load of Maple and Oak got the Fireview roaring in no time.

73 inside. The black locust I’m burning is giving me excellent results. Overnight burns with the draft open more than usual are still giving more coals in the am than oak. Keeping us toasty even with these low temps.

    Stay warm hoarders! :shiver:

-6 when I woke up. We might be at 0 now. No wind so it didn't really feel that bad when I went out earlier.

More ash and square wood in the boiler, with a few pizza boxes for added horsepower.

15/68. Oak burning. I was out of town for work for a couple days so the furnace and the gas bill both got a workout. Glad to be home!
