    Good morning all, Well, if part of a state can look like a "Popscile" it's us dowe here in South Jersey. 18º out now not expected to get much higher. We had about 6+" of snow, (first), then sleet for about 2 hours, got to 38º and rained like Hell for another 6 hours! o_O:eek:. It's a Snowy, FROZEN pile of Icy $#!T outside, everything is a sheet of glass! :picard: Pics later.... Oh, 3 Splits of the last of my Hickory in the stove to get a nice coal bed. 78º in the house, (Warmed up quick)... :whistle:

    -3/23 & sunny.
    We ended up with something like 6 - 7 inches of snow.

    Planning to drink coffee and work in the shop today.

    Morning all. No snow here, temps are just above freezing. This could be our last day of dry weather as rain is predicted for the next week or so.

    Yesterday I saw sundogs in the sky. I didn't know what they were until I posted on Facebook and my cousins in Saskatchewan told me what they were called. It was the coldest morning we have had in this straight of really nice weather. I could get use to weather like that. Frosty at night and sunny all day.

    Today we clean up the last pile of firewood that we got on Friday. We should get it done today as it will be wet tomorrow. I think I am going to need Aleve tonight.
    I had a really nice visit with Mom yesterday. I caught the first ferry so it was a bit of a rush around here before I went. Didn't help that the milk campinspecter poured on his oatmeal was sour so I had to make another breakfast for him. I only buy milk in 1 litre containers as it seems to go bad fast.

    MikeInMa when I got home, I got to see most of the Seahawks game. I missed the snow game of the Patriots.

    Sawdust Man You got snow! How often does that happen? I thought you were too far south to get much.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 36⁰42⁰ maybe, sunny and breezy. Started my 6AM-6PM shift for the week, cooking dirt. Probably bring some BL and white oak down to the house tonight, low around 16⁰ in the morning. Need to get a battery for Blue Samson today while I'm in town.

    We actually get more snow here than we normally got in western Oregon/Washington.
    Most winters we get at leas a couple snows. Usually doesn't last long, but we do get it.

    Its a frozen mess here in NC. About 3" of sleet and frozen rain. Never seen anything like it in my 62 years. I couldn't even back my tractor out of the shed. Its an incline backing out and it would just spin. It doesn't even leave boot tracks when you walk on it. I took a screwdriver and gouged the ice around the gaps of my truck door to get it open. Drove it down to look at the highway and it's a solid frozen mess as well. My truck didn't even break though the ice. You can barely see tire tracks where I went. With lows in the single digits, teens and low 20s for the next couple weeks, this mess ain't going anywhere for a long time.

    My new to me snowblower easily met expectations.

    We can drive away if need be.
    We have our 3 means of house egress cleared.
    Raked the roof
    I even cleared a path out to compost bins and woodyard.

    Time for lunch, a beer, and a nap most likely.
