    Every year I do a couple or so of motor "conversions". Have even removed the stator and rotor from a new off the shelf motor and fitted it to a built in motor that was destroyed in a fire. Custom shafts and c face mounts etc.

    In hindsight, I should have taken the motor off first and brought it to a place that sells them.

    It was cold but the real cold came the day after I got it fixed.
