I was at the boat show last weekend. I was checking out some nice 30 footers .

No, not in the market right now. But maybe I'm a couple of years. Let someone else take the new boat depreciation. ;) I'm about ready to get another 2 wheeled vehicle.

It wasn't working until a few minutes ago, for at least an hour.

New Aprilia tuono 1100. I demo'd a tuono 1100 factory last summer. It impressed me.

Betting you’d have zero regret. Aprilia’s aluminum welds are artwork. Beauty is in the details. They sound amazing too.

I have a dealer about a half hour away. That's one of the issues many have with Aprilia. Italian bike and no dealer around has always been an issue. One of my employees bought a tuono 660 2 years ago from the same dealer, it's been great.

4-5" of fresh powder on the ground now, snowing pretty steady, supposed to be another 9-12" coming before it's over!
Lots n lots of things that would normally be open today are closed.
Been a while since we've had snow like this!

We got about 8 or 10 depend on where you measure. It's dry powder snow but very dense and heavy...about all the four wheeler wants to plow.

Inside warming up and about to watch a football game in a while.

Almost everything is cancelled tomorrow too.

Before the game, when we had 7" (measured), I shoveled the 40+ feet between the chainlink fence gates in my backyard and cleared off the ramp to the shed.

Went out after the Pats game and did first snow blowing of the driveway. Had 9-10" then (estimated). Road plow berm was something special, but at least they used mostly sand, so it wasn't bad - just deep. I blow about 80' of berm total get to my mailbox and get it cleaned out, plus the parking area next to my driveway. Doing that keeps the berm that flows into my driveway from subsequent road plow offerings down a bit. Picture angle from above makes it look like there is only a few inches in the uncleared areas.

    upload_2026-1-26_4-7-57.png

Probably should have cleared the parking area too (to the right in the picture), but I didn't. Also didn't do any of the paths I clean out going around both sides of the house to get to the fenced in area and the shed.

Will be out there this morning to clear what fell overnight then again in the afternoon. It's not snowing now, but is supposed to restart at 6am and go all day.
