    Cable/Internet came back about 5:30!

We've had the oil furnace coming on/off. That's OK as the heat gets to the far reaches of the house. Thermostat at 65⁰. The wood stove helps immensely.

Good morning. Not as cold as yesterday morning’s -24. Now we are sitting at -21, so it will probably be getting there with the lighter wind this morning. Can’t fish today as we are dealing with several family obligations.

This reminds me of when I was a little boy. I spent many hours sitting next to the stove. I only left to get more wood or go to relieve myself.

    Good morning.

7/16 clouds & some amount of snow.....the weather nerds have absolutely no clue....they're saying anything from 4" to 18" +

    Anyways, coffee.

Planning to work in the shop today.

Yesterday I started moving dirt/rocks at dawn and stayed at it till after dark.... trying to get a medium-sized mountain relocated before the weather went to pot. Moved about a million scoops and only got around 1/4 of it done.

    Have a blessed day folks!

Not many pics because I didn't wanna take the time....

Morning all. Another gorgeous day in paradise with the morning temps right around freezing.
Yesterday was busy but I got everything done that I planned on doing. Funeral was packed as it was a large family and a well known woman in the community.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Last night as I got into bed and just before going to sleep, I started thinking of all the blessings of the day. I had energy to do my chores, safety on the road while traveling, food on the table, a loving partner and a warm house due to the firewood we had stashed in the wood shed. Most important is God's love available to all no matter who you are. Today, take time to give thanks to God for all the blessings in your life especially his love for you.

    Happy Sabbath everyone.
