Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 49⁰/62⁰ rain showers, 1/4" since about 5:30AM...:headbang:
Off today, if rain stops going tona neighbor's house and drop 2 pines he's worried about the the approaching winter weather. Need to stack 2 totes of wood and deliver also. Also some work on woodyard, move splitter to a different shed, get white oak chunks set up and put stump grinder on tractor...if rain stops...guess I'll see what saw shed needs, if it doesn't. Also need to bring wood to house soon.
    Be blessed, be a blessing

I used to work with a guy that always said he would strap his snowblower to the roof of the vehicle and drive south.

When he got to the place where someone asked him "what's that thing" that's where he would live!

Grey woolen Stanfield underwear doesn't let drafts in. Pants could be optional.

If it rains, had you thought about snoozing in front of the fire for a day and do nothing? Your off day activities make me exhausted just reading about them.

Morning all. Another windless day with temps just at freezing. The sun never made it past the overcast yesterday but the night was clear so we got to see the sliver of moon. Today is predicted sunshine all day.

Yesterday we got another cord of firewood dropped so we started processing. 1/2 the pile has been what we have been able to do but we got inspired and did more than that. When he came back to drop off the last load, he was surprised to see we had almost processed the first load. We were exhausted so we quit right there. I don't know if we will get any done today as it is going to be busy.

I made 2 soups last night for potluck tomorrow and I have a fruit salad to make today. There is a funeral to attend and campinspecter has laundry, firing the boiler and vacuuming to do.

Did anyone notice any problems with the website yesterday? Access seemed to hit and miss.

    Everyone have a great day.

That sounds good, until my brain kicks in gear and I can't sit still. Guess that's why I don't sleep much, especially on night shift...

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 20260124_035655.jpg
Forecast high of 52⁰. Looks like we might be on the edge of the freezing rain, which starts late evening/tonight thru Monday morning. Hope it doesn't do that, I have to work 6PM-6AM shift this evening. Planning to finish working on the light pole for Blue Samson, then see what happens...

    Good morning, members.

A balmy 3⁰ to start the day. Today's high is to be 14⁰. Sunny day which should help.

We're planning to go out tonight to have dinner with Mrs MikeInMa's siblings. The t e should be 8 of us. Looking forward to it.

Woke up to the internet and cable being out. I turned on my phone's data plan, which were have the smallest plan available. Comcast expects service return by 7am.

No plans for the day except keep feeding the stove.

    Be safe
    Be healthy
    Be warm

Morning. 5 degrees and no wind. I hit the boiler at 05:00 for peace of mind. The chunky boiler wood I had delivered is doing well. Added some since I was there.
With no wind , and the heat from the open door of the boiler made t not unpleasant to add wood in my sleeping clothes. Benefit of being in the country
