Are you sure that customer doesn't live down here? Sounds like ours that need 14"...wood is their only heat source. They live in the town where I work, on the opposite side of town...about 15 miles from home. I was supposed to go by Thursday, but was busy and forgot. Went by yesterday, they had to pay car insurance that got canceled...would have it next week...:headbang::headbang::headbang:...they pay eventually...
They have a young teenage daughter that stays cold, about the only reason I put up with it.

Very nice, sir. We had 1 pick up and the other we delivered down our road with the tractor. We'll get the tote back later.

Waiting on a customer to give me a time for delivery. I’d prefer to be done for the day.

The one complaint I have from the madness this week is folks falling to communicate. They were all fired up to get wood before the storm, but when I’m loaded and ready to roll I get crickets. Not all, but some of them have thrown wrenches into my flow. Broke my back to check people off the list to give myself a break before going to work in the morning and I’m stuck in a holding pattern. :emb: At least the roads will be covered in ice in the morning.

That’s one reason I wouldn’t sell to the general public anymore. No sense of respect for others, and I no longer have any patience with that. “Customers” like this would quickly be off my list permanently or on the very bottom “when I get around to it, maybe I’ll bring you some pine” page. LOL

I have never experienced a rush like the one this last week plus. I took a personal day Thursday just to deliver. With the cold and approaching storm, people went nuts. I turned away at least 25 people since Wednesday afternoon and could only offer pickup. This morning was an almost steady stream of trucks coming in. I don’t ever need to be this busy again!

We do but you can only do so much. A lack of planning on their part is not an emergency on mine.

I will be pulling a sleigh today to deliver wood. Got my ice spikes on and heading out the door.

I have m0re orders than I can get to but I after work today, I will be plowing out the wood piles that I have covered so I can start deliveries again tomorrow morning. Will spend the better part of the weekend making deliveries. Was hoping for another snow storm so I could just skip the wood but it is going out to sea.

It won’t hit the quads like my everyday 600lb squats, but it will make do until I get some liquor in me.
