A guy who works for us is a long time collector of hats. Im not sure how many he owns but it's a boatload. He has everything from bands, colleges, high schools, mom and pop local garages that are long gone, and everything in between. Last year he wore a Stihl hat I guess from 90s. I told him he has to put in his will that I get it.

Today he wore this one, 20251208_102747.jpg

Pretty cool to see vintage stuff.

I like this old stuff. Looked for a new old stock Jonsered hat with a chainsaw on it for a while and gave up. Companies don't seem to ever market specific products much anymore. More so the Brand as a whole. 'Husqvarna' is ambiguous. A picture of a Husqvarna chainsaw is not. Would love to see chainsaws more promoted by the big companies.

I'd wear the above hat and I don't even own a Stihl.

I used to have a large collection of hats but I stopped collecting many moon ago. However, I do occasionally buy a new one if it really strikes me. I picked up one last summer. I really liked it and it was on sale at place we stopped at. Original price was 29.99 but I got it for $5.00

Kinda funny what people think their stuff is worth sometimes.

Quick story. Grandparents passed and the family was cleaning out their house. Had a garage sale to try to get rid of some of it. Well there was this Jeff Gordon hat with a couple pins in it. (He was my grandpa's favorite driver at one point). Well someone thought to put $25 on it, not expecting much. Wouldn't you know, one of the first people to stop bought it full price, no haggling.

I guess one could say I’m a Stihl fan boy, 3 saws, 2 leaf blowers, a weed whacker and some other stuff:

Had an old Stihl winter cap like the dudes in Grumpy Old Men wore? Then my wife washed it and shrunk it so much it didn’t fit. Gave it away. For crying out loud I even have a Stihl cordless vac
