Mid 20s and more wind. Low teens and single digits the next 3 nights.

Boiler putting extra work heating up the shop today.

The last of the cherry, walnut, pear pile goes in the boiler this afternoon.

    14° feels like-1°
    70° inside

It snowed a little over an inch overnight. I snowblowed the driveway to pull up and blow off some of the snow that compacted after being driven on. It helped.

I have to do a water change on my saltwater fish tank, so I'll use the old salt water and use that to de ice the driveway, at least part of it.

    Burning ash and box elder.

Good Luck, Brother…. Did surgery on both knees last year… one in May and the other at Christmas time…. Both have been very helpful in the surgery department..

Thank you sir, I remember seeing you comment on your surgery in Dec. I have had both knees worked on previously, this is the right one again.

We'll be lucky if we see it before March. No thaw in sight now.

28 / 64 :coffee: Some snow yesterday, couple of inches or so.

Oak is on the menu today. I see some ash mid pile that may make it into the stove today. Supposed to continue snowing today which could make the 3pm Patriots game interesting. Stay warm!

Sitting at 32. Oak and BL warm house up

3" of snow over night. Yesterday I only brought down one cart load of BL to refill the stacks. Quad is out of gas and it someone didn't refill gas cans. :emb:. Snowblower is out of gas as well. :headbang:
And same someone left BL stack partially uncovered.
    How many demerits is this?

    4° out feels like-14°

    71° in the stove room.

Ash and a piece of fir in the quadrafire this am for the reload.
The furnace kicked in once this am as expected. It's nice to know that I fixed the furnace for zero dollars aside from the replacement 20 dollar ignitor I had to buy. Also I'm thankful I kept the old ignitor from the last time I replaced it. The new one arrives next week. I'll put the the spare that's being used back in the box for the next time, which probably won't ever happen. This furnace will be replaced before it needs servicing again.
