Good morning. 8f, light snowfall and breezy this morning. Heading the lake in two hours, which is enough time to enjoy the fire and coffee.

Good Morning…. :coffee: …. 17F…. Yesterday’s drive home was interesting…. The concrete/asphalt was too warm to allow it to stick…. But some of the squall lines was fun to drive in… going to high around 19 F today…. And I’ll be putting ribs on the smoker here later…

Surprised house is so warm this morning but it is warm outside! 30 degrees. Falling temps predicted and we are headed for a deep freeze.

Morning all. Frosty out this morning with a clear sunny sky for the day. I think we have a couple of days of this kind of weather with a high pressure ridge sitting over us.
I didn't get any garden work done yesterday as I had other things to do. The dogs spent quite a bit of time outside though so they slept well last night.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. Philippians 2: 14 - 16

We are so blessed with God's love and his Word to live by but it is not easy to remember that when tough times come along. God understands our trials and troubles but when we turn to him in praise and thanksgiving, he is there to encourage and strengthen us. In this new quarter, we are studying Paul's writings to the Philippians and Colossians. How he kept encouraging his fellow believers to be strong in the faith. Today, give an encouraging word to someone who is having a difficult time.

    Happy Sabbath everyone

Muskie are off limits to winter spearing.

I have eaten them before, but in general they are considered a sport fish by those that target them.

    Good morning, members.

Wintry day ahead. 29⁰/33⁰ overcast with snow showers this morning, and steady snow tonight. Possible 5in when all done.

Inside day. My to-do list has yet to be revealed to me. Perhaps, some basement time doing some reorg/cleanup.

    Football this afternoon. Go Pats!

    Be safe
    Be healthy
