Yeah, since I don't even use an alarm clock, and have been on PTO basically since Thanksgiving without being able to sleep to a "normal" time, I don't think that is happening.

    Here too.

It was a cold November also, with temps consistently 10+ degrees below average. But, not sure about the actual stats.

What is PTO? The only thing I've ever associated with that is power takeoff.

We had much below temps in December before Christmas. Not so since except for a few days.

Follow the $$$. They don't care about health or they never would have created this processed garbage (that tastes really good, sometimes).

Had a quick little project in the shop this morning. About the only thing I don't like about my SXS is that there is no front locker and you can't turn on the rear locker unless it is in 4WD. There isn't much I can do about the front locker, but since the rear locker is electronic I can just wire it the way I want. Made a quick little jumper and now it works the way I like. This thing rarely sees pavement so I'm not worried about hurting an axle.

Got it all cleaned up, fluids changed, and it's ready to go back to the property for another year.

Feels like spring outside. I think I'm going to wrap up work early and get outdoors.

Personal Time Off (or Paid Time Off). Many companies went from giving separate sick time and vacation time to just calling it all PTO - so all your earned time could be used for whatever circumstance you wanted (you or your kid is sick, kids get a snow day from school, appointments, mental health day etc).

We also got PHT (Personal Holiday Time), to account for only getting 6 scheduled holidays. This is use or lose time (PTO can roll over but with a max accrual). For PHT, they credit you with the hours at the beginning of the years So, I got to use 24 of the 27 hours for 2026 :D

Some of the places where I was employed would call it personal time off other places called it paid time off.

No matter. I earned it and got paid for it; call it what they want! :handshake:

Caffeine! Two days off. Yeah! Dump run today. Then run some errands and pay a few bills. And hopefully get out and take down a good size dead Ash. Time to start cutting firewood for next season. :saw:

I spent some time pushing snowbanks back yesterday.

The driveway was already becoming narrow due to the amount of snow received so far and since the opportunity was there (warmer temps) it was an easy decision.

Got both sides of the entire driveway done!
