Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Morning all. Dark and rainy out there this morning. I think we are in for a very wet weekend.

We got a few chores done yesterday but sleeping in sure messes me up for motivation. News of three deaths in one week in three families we know was hard to take as well. One family is quite large and they were grieving the loss of the head of the family before Christmas.

11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. Titus 2:11-14

A gift beyond measure Jesus gave us with his death to pay for our sins. A Holy God sacrificing himself to save us from our sins. How can we ever show Him how thankful we are for the gift of eternal life with him? In the book of Titus, Paul gives us some good advice in how to live our lives to reflect the glory of God's charactor. With the power of the Holy Spirit, we can say no to things that lead us away from the rightousness of Chirst and instead guides in the path of light that is laid out before us. Today, take time to think about what Christ has done for you and give Him praise and thanksgiving for all your blessings.

Never did get all the snow that was predicted. Dang the luck.

Yesterday, I received a Christmas present that I had ordered in the beginning of December. Yup, it's going back. The company hadn't even shipped the order until Christmas eve morning. I had tried to cancel it but was told it's "too late". It sure was!

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 48⁰/59⁰ fair.
Off today, so get to spend time with my church family this morning. Taking my SIL out for lunch afterwards. While in town, need to check on wood supply at the country restaurant where we're eating and then maybe check on a couple jobs to do.

Morning all. overcast and grey but it is not raining yet. Really high and low tides with the full moon yesterday and today. Fortunately no wind to create problems as of yet.

Bookkeeping today, putting firewood in the basement and if it doesn't rain, take down the outside Christmas lights. I have a little tree outside that I keep going all year around. It is nice to have it lit up when it still is so dark early in the evenings. I will also take down the inside tree and ornaments today. Busy day for me.

Very mild overnight temps. Should be close to freezing today here. Then, a few days of just over freezing. No rain in this upcoming warm spell thankfully!!

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 38⁰/65⁰ foggy. Off again today. Funeral this morning @ 11AM for church member and friend we used to cut grass for. He had been having heart problems for awhile, he wasn't able to get transplant, but did have surgery for the heart pump. He made it to the rehab hospital, then started having major problems.
This afternoon we have a small tree job to go do.
