Spent a little time moving wood home and stacking it near the wood boiler. All scraps I can’t or better yet shouldn’t sell. It takes a little time trying to stack this stuff but I am now stocked up for a while.
Perfectly burnable wood, just in oddball "unconventional" shapes and sizes. How often do you have to restock that pile during the season? Nice stacking job btw. I've sold 1.5 cords of them so far this season, with more to sell including BL. I've given my friend quite a bit too. Do you sell any like that Joe?
Haha. Doesn’t bring home the Benjamin’s but sure keeps em in my pocket! Usually Jersey hot means stolen though. LOL
I do sell some of it from time to time but I don’t advertise. This 6 pallet set up will hold 3 full cords when fully stocked. I usually have it full and ready to go by the end of summer and then only partially fill it throughout the winter. A lot of times, I just bring an ibc tote bladder home one at a time as I get lazy or short on daylight.
Do you guys who sell it discount it and, if so, how much? I burn it myself but I have mused lately about selling it. Nice stacking, I am surprised it stacked so well! I put mine in totes.
I get the same price as normal length splits. I have a couple regulars for it including black locust which ill separate. Ill advertise it as firepit wood or for small stoves if i list it on FBM I store it in half cord bins i make from reclaimed wood.
