From reading various threads/posts, I know some of you reload ammo. Is there a reloading pm? If so, can I get in it?.....I have some questions. If there isn't, I'd like to make one, if others are interested and willing....
You're in the PM now! Eckie. Not that much Interest out here on the Forum so we just did a PM, actually it was Rope who started it.
Not sure what the ‘PM’ is, I’ve been reloading for decades. I prefer to reload over buying ammo. If interested in starting, there are plenty of videos, free. I’d get a good reloading manual or 3, start there. An easy cartridge to start with would be like 38 special, or similar. It’s always been quality over quantity with me, never had a mishap with reloading. My most recent was a few extra 243 loads for my new Howa ‘Superlight’ 243. I have others but wanted to try out this very lightweight rifle. I even ‘sponge painted’ the shiny stock.
A PM is a "Private message". I'll pull you in the PM thread. We started the PM because this forum is (Open) for ALL the general public to see. Some folks didn't feel good about all kinds of (Unkind) eyes to guns and things relating too! We do have all sides of the political spectrum on here If you understand what I mean. In the PM, you can speak freely
Well well WeldrDave , I would be interested in a reloading talk. I just worked all day in the loading room setting up a new luber sizer for 40S&W. The light bulb goes inside the luber mounts to heat the bullet lube to flow better. I guess you could call me a dabbler, been doing it 50 years or so.
Amazin how the 40 S&W fell off the earth. I like the caliber a lot. Yesterday I tumbled 20#s out of the 80#s stash of brass I have. IMHO, 40s, 45ACP, 38s, .357, 44 special and 44 Mag are easy to cast and load for. 9mm is a trickly little sucker though.
