I found an Echo CS-400 on the local Marketplace and decided to try it out. It looked well used but fired right up so I’m hoping it will be a keeper. I don’t know why they put a 25” bar on this saw but I will put an 18” bar on for the first go round.
They respond well to a muffer mod that includes removing the cat. Or you can buy this version that has no cat and mod it.
I have 2 of the CS-400 saws. One of my favorites. One is new in box and the other I got used with low hours and I ported it.
