About 8-9'. I put it together from whatever I had laying around a after I found that cylinder! It makes for a great rope swing over the pond, at our old place. We had a brief warm up about 10 days ago, enough to clear the remaining snow so I got the roof on. It did dump the Christmas eave snow off with a little help from the sun! Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
Great job fuelrod ... how much snow did you get in the last storm? We got around 15". Should be fun watching the main roof send avalanches flying off the new porch.

Having the same wacky floor beams continue just being open to above. This was an afterthought as I was so happy with the live edge less than straight almost log looking floor beams/joists hopefully creating a pergola kinda feeling in that room. Oops, I went back in to fix a duplicate pic (in edit) and it fouled up everything. To answer the question if that boom extended. Floor/ceiling. The upstairs is going to be a guest bedroom, full bath with a tub. We're not big tub fans but having only a shower for 17 years it seems like a good idea. The new boiler is coming today from VT.
What does this mean? This comes up when I select pictures from my phone. I've seen it before. I was going to catch you up with pictures. I'm closing in the upstairs walls and trimming the windows and doors.
