When I posted about my 14" ego saw, I checked out their current offerings. The new 20" one intrigued me, and I ordered one to use around the property as an everyday saw. It arrived today. I charged the battery, filled it with oil and made a couple of test cuts on 18-20" cherry. My flabber is gasted! This saw has an LED screen, 3 speeds or power levels, An LED head light right above where the top chain enters the kerf. A 5 segment battery charge indicator on the screen! I was surprised at how fast it cut. It comes with a 56 volt 6AH battery and charger, And, it screams! The higher the power setting, the higher the scream. I'll post a video as soon as I can make one.
I was seriously looking at electric saws, for the little jobs. My intent was lighter, 4-5” cuts, trimming sort of stuff. My main saw is a 361 Stihl. After looking & considering, Milwaukee was up there, I got a smaller Echo gas CS 3510 saw inbound. It was on sale, new. The weight is around 9 lbs, gets good reviews. I don’t mind dealing with 2-stroke fuel, cost & weight with this are less than most any electric saw I would want. Our camp road has a bunch of small trees over from the early, heavy snow. It will be a serious job once the snow melts.
