Good FHC morning, all!

Right around freezing out there and the rain we got overnight (instead of snow) coated everything in ice. Well, at least where it didn't collect in puddles.

Even the dogs were walking of the ramp very slowly and carefully........but still could see them slipping.

It's a fine day to take a digger!

Morning all. Welcome to a White Boxing Day. We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday but this morning we wake up to snow falling.
Headed over to Mom's to enjoy the day yesterday. She doesn't have a fenced yard so the dogs managed to excape twice and explore the neighbourhood. They were so excited when they came back.

Today is chores but the tree is lit and the firelog is burning on the TV with snow falling outside. So Christmasy.

16⁰/25⁰ cloudy sun comes out later today.

We got our first real snow overnight. Maybe 4 inches. Enough to fire up the snowblower for the first time this season.

We were thinking about heading out to eat this afternoon. We'll see about that. We still have good leftovers.

Having a GTG today. Make your own sandwiches and a quick visit is what it'll amount to.

Storm watch posted for the U.P. with up to 18" and high winds beginning tomorrow. And of course the risk of losing power. We have guests with us now, not such a good time..........

The highways were well taken care of (good enough for travel) but side roads were nothing but ice.

Low speeds were the order of the day.
