Temps will be over freezing and then below freezing for a couple of days. May have some crappy conditions for driving.

47 I’m enjoying a break from feeding the antique inserts. I will be driving around 1000 miles over the next few days :emb:

We're at about 42 right now. 73 in, idling oak. Had a window open last night. Sure could use some SS wood.

64/39. House is cooling off quick since no fire or furnace running while we were gone today. Just lit a fire of oak splits and one pine chunk but it won’t do much but heat up the chimney structure. I’ll wake up to the furnace around 5am.

Box elder and ash in the quadrafire.

Most of our snow is gone. I'll see how much there is in the woods tomorrow at my buddy's house.

Looks like some snow is on the way for this evening/tomorrow morning along with sleet freezing rain crap. Bad for travelers.

    Merry Christmas folks!
35/68 here. Oak in the Osburn with an oak/pine mix on deck for the rest of the day. Might try to split some wood in between brunch and dinner to work off some carbs.

Had a 3am reload. Ash and oak. Apparently Santa forgot to load the stove last night!:drunk::santa:

    Merry Christmas to all!

26 / 69 icy cold this morning, feels great!

28/68 boxelder and maple. Sitting by the fire while the rest of the house is sleeping. Our two adult sons, daughter in-law and girlfriend spent the night. Truck is sleeping in the garage. We had 15 people here last night for my homemade pizza. I hope you enjoy your day.

18/76 with a very strong north wind. Single digits predicted, but I bet we go negative.
Black locust, an elm bowling pin, and some maple lumber cutoffs stuffed in the ends for the overnight.

IMG_0759.jpeg 41/73 only burning the fireplace since it’s so warm today. Keeping the tradition alive burning pieces of last years Christmas tree.
