just dropping in to say hello. i just got an old horizon eclipse pellet stove. in the process of hooking it up and getting ready the winter. i am looking for the install guide for the stove that shows clearance to combustibles if anyone has it. it would greatly appreciated.
Welcome to FHC!!! Great community that is full of helpful and interesting people.. Don't mean to call anyone out but 343amc said that he has those manuals from back in the 90's. Give him a shout or he may be along in a bit. http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/for...zon-eclipse-pellet-stove-manual-available.69/
thanks for the welcome! i did just find the thread for the manual and asked for a copy. but the link that is attached to it does not work. maybe he'll get back to me.
Welcome! When you get that stove hooked up & running, post some burning pics....we LOVE pics! PS If you bought that stove used, I highly recommend taking it apart outside, and clean every inch with compressed air, brushes, and a vacuum. Might need some replacement gaskets too.
Very good post Imacman. Great advice. Clean the stove and check all gaskets. Welcome to FHC marshallb! ! Any certain questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.
great advise. i will definitely be taking it outside and cleaning it up. i did buy it used. i am having a problem with my town inspector tho. he wants the original install sheet that shows the clearance to combustibles before he issues me a permit to install the stove. what a pain!
Howdy Marshal and welcome to the show !! I can't help ya with your question, but someone here can I'm sure. Imacman is a wise man, great idea to start with a very clean stove and a good install. Best of luck !! Schoondog
Don't bother asking for any help or advice here⦠we just collect pictures and drink beer. You DID buy enough beer for all of us didn't you?
