I don't know how you keep those dogs from getting eaten. I had little dogs, but now big ones. Too many predators have moved in. I hear the coyotes howl at night. And I have seen fisher and bobcat in the yard. No thanks. I have a fenced in kennel area right against the house that allows me to let them out at night without much worry.
Went out and got another load of wood to finish filling the wood shed. I think the shirts say it all!!!
These are rat terriers and have a high prey drive. They have cornered a 400 lb black bear on a walk one day and were trying to take it down. They are very noisy too so anything trying to get into the yard causes quite a commotion with them. Cougars are a worry but with the racket they make, sounding like a big pack, I am hoping that will intimidate one. Cougars, bears and wolves are our only real predators here. Wolves we don't see much of although they are around the outside of town.
