    Good morning. I found good ice and clear water on the second lake I checked yesterday, so I plan to head out there this morning prior to sunrise.

    It warmed from 2 to 9 overnight with light snowfall approaching according to the NWS radar..

    It sounds like strange weather this week. mostly cold with tomorrow and Wednesday being relatively warm but still below normal. Also some snow, rain and maybe even ice. So I may bring up some more firewood while it is not too nasty.

    Morning all. Wet and windy out there. The dark stays quite late in the morning when we have a heavy overcast. Yesterday and Sabbath turned out to be quite nice days. A bit of a surprise.
    House cleaning, bookkeeping and cooking today. I should get dressed first though before starting all that.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 47⁰/54⁰ misty rain, cloudy. Working OT this week, 6AM-6PM shift today, might as well cook dirt while the weather is wet. Got our church Christmas dinner tonight at 6:30. Afterwards, we will be setting up the tables for our upcoming missions project, packing 500 bags of goodies for kids on Christmas break. We will pick up groceries in the morning from Sam's Club.

    theburtman, down here in the temperate zone, we're at 11⁰. Warming all the way up to 29⁰, sunny.

    Woodstove is coming back up to temp. It's satisfying to put a couple of pinecone along with a couple of finger sized sticks on a small leftover coal, and see it fire right up.

    I have some grocery shopping along with another stop or two.
