Morning all Dark and I don't know what the weather is going to be like. Seeing as the temps are warmer than yesterday, it will probably be rain.
I am so glad it is Sabbath. Working full weeks are fun but exhausting.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136: 1, 26

A beautiful Psalm with every second line a statement of our God's consistency. In everthing that happens to us, God's love endures forever. Love beyond our comprehension is there for us at all times. Sometimes we walk away from that love and we get ourselves in a mess. BUT the good news is God's love endures forever and He welcomes us back with open arms. The song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" comes to mind. If you don't know it, look up the lyrics and find a blessing.

    Happy Sabbath, everyone

    Good morning, members.

    Overcast day 24⁰/48⁰ showery afternoon.

Tuesday snow still forecasted. No accumulation guesses, yet. Regardless, I'll go around the yard making sure there's no shear pin "busters" in areas in and around the woodyard. I'll do this this morning.

Various indoor activities for this afternoon.

    Be safe

They are now forecasting a possible 9 inches of snow on Tuesday. Starting pre-dawn through sunset. Looking forward to it, I think!

Good Morning…. :coffee: …. Going to smoke a ham for some meals… but most importantly using the ham bone for black eyed peas for New Years Day. Got time now to do it… cause I’ll be recouping from knee surgery at that time and the weather may not be as nice…. Clear and 20F … :D

    G’ morning :coffee:
We had 10 Inches a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it mostly melted. Predicting 3-5° Thursday and Friday, kind of excited to see how this years insulation improvements perform.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 42⁰/62⁰ cloudy. Going to church this morning, then we have our "Hanging of the greens" program tonight. Should be a great day of fellowship.
We had a good trip and time with our friend in Macon yesterday, spent too much :emptywallet:at Sam's, as usual...but got things we needed...and cat food was on sale...:thumbs::thumbs:...

Morning all. Sitting here waiting for snow to stop. This is the earliest I've had to plow snow for a long time. Shoot, I've plowed snow very little for the last 10 years or more. This might turn out to be more like weather of old. Forecasters say we have not had any above normal snow since 2013 or 2014. This snow we just got might be the deepest since then.

Morning all. Yesterday turned out to be a very nice sunny day and it looks like today will be the same. Just above freezing this morning.

Went out for breakfast and now doing bookkeeping for the morning. I hope to get out and set Christmas lights this afternoon. Indoor decorating will wait until next week. We have to come up with a fence idea for the Christmas tree now we have puppies in the building.

yooperdave really had a wild end of week. So glad to hear they made it through safely. Having a heat source and a generator sure makes the difference.

Mom's power went out yesterday morning and a very helpful neighbour came by and got her generator going. She went down and put the furnace on later in the day and he came by and filled the generator up with gas before dark. I think it was a 12 hour outage for her. Not wind caused but a failure of a voltage regulator. Two communities were impacted. Delays happened because of the ferry schedule. Of course she didn't tell us. I saw a post on FB about it. Her landline phone is very old so the reception is poor on it and she doesn't like to use it during power outages.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day.

    Good morning, members.

Not a bad day ahead. 30⁰/40⁰ more sun than clouds.

I'll continue my pre-snow outdoor prep. Including topping off the deck rack with some red oak and BL splits.

Time for Thanksgiving cleanup. Freezing what's still good and trashing what ain't.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 46⁰/55⁰ mostly cloudy. Start my 6AM-6PM shift for the week. Rain is likely tonight, probably sharpen a few chains.

3:15 is way too early to get out of bed for the day.

Making a pot of coffee and a wood fire in the furnace only reinforces that behavior!

It looks like I won't have to get the plow truck stuck err, I mean plow today!

Good morning. 3F and a nice new mantle of snow on the stacks. Coffee and fire are nice.

My wife and I had a nice time at “dear” camp.

Cold morning at 12 degrees. I really had a time yesterday plowing snow with the atv. It takes a good while just to do ours but several neighbors needed some help. It made them happy and some really do not need to be shoveling, especially with this snow because it is so heavy and sticky. I was happy to help them and I even got a dinner for my time. Them and others wanted to pay me but what the heck. I know they don't have much and besides, I have always thought it is a poor many who can't or won't help his neighbor, even if they don't ask.
