Spent this afternoon cleaning a mouse nest off of the top of the cabin air filter in my wife's Honda. Second time in a year it's happened. It ruins the air filters too

A guy that does small engine repairs has been advertising that mouse nests are one of the biggest issues he's seen this year. I'm fortunate and mice don't make it into my garage. Looking at my split shed doors last week, I saw the building has settled enough that I can see daylight. Next spring I'll need to put some weather stripping in there to keep critters out.

Don't think I have to worry about the mower that is in there since it is battery powered. But they would have a great time making nests in tarps and such.

Mice got in my Wif's Highlander. Made a nest in the centripetal fan. Horrible racket when she started the heater. Had to disassemble the fan and remove several spin dried mice and debris. They came in through the outside air plenum and ate through the filter and got into the system. I lined the filter chamber with 1/4" hardware cloth and we have had no problems since. Darned little bastages!

Every cabin air filter should have a screen on one side. Guess those engineers live in a perfect world? I just don't understand the shortcomings of some products.

We have a light coating of snow. Technically not a white thanksgiving, but close enough for me.

We actually just came out now. Cranberry is not nearly as busy as we expected. Not like it was years ago.

They are looking for homes for the winter. They don't care of it's electric or gas.

A neighbor is mowing the grass. It's 30° out and there's a coating of snow on the grass. Weirdos.

It's going to snow a bit tomorrow as well. Forecasters are saying 9-11". We'll see.
