    Warm day. 47⁰/60⁰ overcast, drizzly. We had rain overnight. More rain tonight.

    Lots of indoor stuff to do. Mostly cleaning/vacuuming.

    Mrs MikeInMa will fill the house with good baking smells - an apple pie and a pumpkin.

    I'm planning to have lunch with Truckaa, a chance to catch up with each other, mid-week.

    The wind and cold front has found us. Not much snow in MI so far but one small area is getting it. This is an area where they forecast snowfall may be up to 40". Whoopee! The snowmachines will be out in full force.

    30 out when I got up tis morning. Oak doing its thing in the Lopi. Snow is sticking on the lawn but the roads are just wet. We may have almost an inch of snow. We had a turkey parade with 10 turkeys walk past our house up to the woods.

    Morning all. No turkey parade here. Just dark and wet outside. I think we have a system moving in with more rain.

    I am working at the school again today. It has been fun and I am surprised that I recognize as many students as I do. It has been two years since I retired the second time.

    Canadian Olympic curling trials are going strong this week. A few surprises among the contenders.

    Has anyone noticed that the spell checker doesn't seem to work on this site anymore? Or is it just me?

    Decent day ahead. 36⁹/46⁰ mainly sunny.

    There'll be 6 of us for turkey dinner, including mom. The 1st Thanksgiving without dad telling us for dessert, he'd have a piece of everything, which he got. Good memories.

    My cousin's with the beach house, will be joining us. Looking forward to the day.

    I have a fire built to light off after we eat. The oven and stove burners will keep us warm, with an assist from the oil burner.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY Thanksgiving Day. 41⁰/58⁰ clear. Another 6PM-6AM night down, got to deliver a tote of 14" oak/hickory mix this morning...:picard:...then we are taking our son to Cracker Barrel for lunch. Everyone was busy with other plans...then nap and work tonight.
    I'm thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, my family and my health and my extended FHC family. Sure glad to have found this site and then met so many at the GTG'S. Ya'll have been a blessing to me...helping me :emptywallet:on :saw:and :tractor:...:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:...and I wouldn't have it any other.

    I’m at mom and dad’s a few hours away from the wood pile. There will be no cutting, splits made, or deliveries. Blessed to get another Thanksgiving with my parents and to feast on mom’s cooking. Hopefully I can find space for apple pie before driving back home tonight.
