Very mild temps and no winds!

Snow shows up beginning Tue afternoon. Glad I didn't take the plow off the truck as preliminary forecasts call for 15+.

Currently -10C/14F so not bad, but pretty much the end of above normal temps around here. Winter is showing up...
    Pine chunks for breakfast.

Still pretty mild here, mid 50's during the day and 40s at night. More rain tonight so lots of mud tomorrow.

I put some walnut in the boiler last night. I suspect there is quite a bit still in there.

Warnings have been increased for amounts over 2 feet now. Plus 50 mph winds.

I suspect if the snow is the wet heavy stuff, we'll lose power. Dang.

    It all begins this evening.

Doesn't sound like much fun. Hopefully you can just worry about plowing to keep drive open, and rest of time relax by the fire watching it pile up.

Snow not a big problem in Upper MI bit those 50 mph winds could cause big problems. Forecast 14-25" this evening through tomorrow.

Nearly 60 degrees now, but the temp is supposed to drop almost 40 degrees over the next 36 hours with wind gusts up to 45MPH.

I just topped off the boiler with more walnut and one chunk of bradford pear.

Our weather has gone weird too. Currently 45 now. Supposed to rain just about all night. By morning it will be 52 with a high of 59. Sun comes back on Thursday.

3 shorts north/south; 2 oak and one pine, topped with an oak split east/west. Low and slow
