I'm told the difference in snow between the White Mtn area and Southern NH is very drastic. I told my wife if we ever move from Tennessee that NH would be my first choice.
33 out windchill is 26 just came in from hunting and my hands and feet are freezing. Elm and white oak heating me up.
It's already 50 and is going to be 68 today. We've been having beautiful days the past week, or so. Only been starting a fire for overnights lately.
27 when I woke up. No sun today so the house is calling for heat in a couple zones. I warmed up the shop a little this morning too. More white oak uglies and a some ash in the boiler. Looks like a cool, damp, and cloudy weather pattern is setting in so I'll probably leave it lit from here on out.
24 out and 61 in this morning. I did not have a fire overnight. Shoulder wood doing its thing heating the house.
55f with lots of lightning and some sprinkles started. With any luck we will get some much-needed moisture.
24/74 white oak splits and mulberry rounds. Going to choke it down soon and it should last till morning and also dirty up the glass lol.
41 and raining. Overall just a nasty day. I put the last of the white oak uglies in the boiler last night...waiting for the rain to stop before I go reload.
Rainy and snowy today. It's like 38° out and 72° in the house. It was 29° at 6am. Burning ash and fir.
Just my phone, and that is a screen shot because the original is too large to the forum. I was trying to get some wallpaper pics for it. -no filters or alterations for color
This mornings fire lasted until about 6pm. It was 71 in the house, I let it cool off some as I was overheated from working out in the yard all day. It's 33 degrees now going to 25 by morning. It will be toasty here shortly, going to do a full load tonight. Oak, Maple and some cedar fence posts I found the other day abandoned and scrounged on the side of the road. Have a warm evening!
