what kind of maple is it? (tree id)

my neighbors had his maple cut and gave everything to me

it's a maple, not sure what kind, i am sure someone can help me here

 

Looks like Silver based on the tree structure. Got any leaf pics?

Yup 100% silver maple

 

I'd take it! That's a huge amount of wood from next door.

Yup, looks like silver maple...not the highest BTU maple, but its sure burns nice! I like to mix it with other species in the stove

 

It splits really nice too ime even the big nasty pieces.

 

not, it wasnt, the people that cut it didnt do proper length

 

cut last year / split this April

 

it gave about ~13-14 face coord (4f x 8f x 16in)
