    Good morning, members.

Another cold breezy day. 29⁰/41⁰ chance of light flurries. I saw a few flakes blowing around yesterday.

A bit of leaf management, followed by a load of wood to the deck rack.

We're proceeding with the understanding that we will be able to go camping. So, multiple related activities today.

After lunch out with Truckaa, I'll head to his house to load storage bins into my minivan. Coolers will be loaded Thursday morning.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. A bit warmer this morning at 32⁰, heading to 68⁰. Planning to work on the woodyard today, guy brought back 2 totes for firepit wood, so load those and start splitting hickory that we cut yesterday. Dinner out with friends this evening. 20251111_170233.jpg

I just received a phone call from someone affiliated with the USDA Forest Service, who provided me with the lock combination for the cabin in the White Mtns of NH.

We are good to go tomorrow morning!

Morning all. Overcast, a bit windy and not raining yet. That will probably change.
Busy day yesterday as my dishwasher died on Sunday night. campinspecter headed down island on Monday and bought a new one. :hair: A lot more than the $50 he spent on the used previous one which ran for 15 yrs.

Well early yesterday, we started to install it. Found out the shutoff valve to the dishwasher had disintegrated inside from the hot water we use from the boiler. Water everywhere. Fortuantely I have lots of dog towels to mop the water. Took the old one out, brought the new one in and looked to see what other parts we needed.
Went out for breakfast as the whole house water system was shut off. When we got back, we found out that one of the local building supplies was opened today so it was only 1 1/2 round trip to get a shut off valve. 12+ hours later, with several puppy breaks, lunch and we turned it on and there were no leaks with the soldering or the drain.
the challange today is to attach the dishwasher to the cabinet as nothing is 1978 standard size any more. The joys of working in a older home. At least it isn't 100 years old.

    Everyone have a great day.
