26 this morning, heading to 52 and windy today.

 

50* overnight and raining. Fire of splitter litter and Doug Fir bark to keep the damp out.

 

Low twenties up to mid thirties today. Put some white oak in with some branches, and will add some more oak tonight. Had a light blanket of snow this morning, but sunlight returned in the afternoon. Mostly blue skies again. Temps will be down the net few days

 

Well, since lows forecast at 25* tonight the Jotul is loaded and ready to fire off tomorrow morning with a little poplar and a bit more white oak

 

32/76 at the moment. Fire is out. 25 for the low tonight. Elm and lumber cutoffs before bed.

 

First real cold snap in our area. Currently 36F so we decided to lite the fireplace for the first time this season. Burning some splitter scraps and limb wood tonight.

 

47/ 65 going down to low of 29 in the morning. It's raining and supposed to let up in the next few days. I've got a few splits of maple and a small piece of oak in for now, taking the edge off. The low will be the low temp of this season so far.

28/72 burning ash, cherry and hickory heading for low 20's. Got a skift of snow

 

Dipping into the upper 40s before morning the last day or so....but may see upper 30s this weekend with some rain....so we may get our first 24 hour burns going in the wood stove....finally.

 

We've gotten about an inch of snow in the last hour or so.

 

Supposed to dip down to 26 ambient tonight. Lit up at 6p, got er rolling good with chestnut oak.



Was 63 when I started, up to 69 now. Chopping up pine boards to start fires lately.

 

21 currently 13 with the windchill. White oak and elm uglies keeping me warm.

Winds kicked up yesterday afternoon but thankfully, fizzled out.
