One has to go to the clinic for the shots and it takes a crew to get it all done. Also, there are usually 4 or more waiting when I am done. Also, many will get an IV to ease them through the shots but I don't want that.

First shots are required by medicare else the doctor would have started the whole business. Also after the first shots they know for sure if arthritis is involved. But we do know my body is full of arthritis anyway.

I feel for you. Lately that where I've been most of the time. As for the pain in the back, it is from both polio and an injury 39 years ago. Dang, that's a long time. Guess I'm lucky to be alive.

Going to stock up the porch with wood before the cold front hits us. This cold front is just a wake-up call for us to remind us of what is to come. I do think we will have a cold winter but who knows about the snowfall. We have had very little snow for the last 10 years. Only time will tell if we get to plow much snow or not.

Mornin' all 41/63 here this morning. Bright blue skies today and some wind of 20-30mph supposed to go to the high 40's tonight.

I use the VA for medical. Though I am on Medicare now, I wasn't then. Still using the VA. The Boston area VA is highly rated and I have no qualms using them.

Ultimately they gave me some sort of ablation to seal off the nerve endings. I'll look up the exact terminology after I do a few other things. I found going to the chiropractor worked well too.

    Have a blessed day!

    Good morning, members.

    Cool start. 28⁰/51⁰ cloudy day.

I plan to start splitting some BL rounds.

Off to get some more birdseed. I only put out sunflower seeds, and blocks of suet.

    Be safe

Good Morning! I am at our undisclosed, remote location, here on Cape Cod Massachusetts. Got the gas fireplace fired up and...

It's not the same. I think we may need to rip it out and install a woodstove or something. NG is no fun!

    Have a blessed day!

Morning all. We have had a real mixed bag of weather. Yesterday started off nice, got real windy and ended in rain.
This morning it isn't raining but probably will happen soon.
It has been a very busy week and today I am working as well as Monday.
Wednesday we went over to Mom's and campinspecter was going to shut off the water to the outside tap for the winter. The shutoff valve came off in his hand. No supplies in the community so the water was shut off, and we made an emergency trip down island for parts. Even our local building suppliers didn't have what we wanted. Everything is going to pecs.
So an hour plumbing job took two days to get done. campinspecter was looking at the valve and he thinks my dad actually put pieces together to make the valve. If so, it lasted at least 65 years before failing.
Any way that is my story and I am sticking to it.

    Everyone have a nice day.

Rain overnight and this morning. It's done now. All the snow stayed in Canada but it was close.

Woodwidow piece of advice and I hate giving advice to those older and wiser than me .. what’s the young whipper snapper know
Your beliefs make you a sister; this is the thread so with gods love..

PEX is easier: trained 12 yo can do it next Time in town get some basics to start to covert to PEX

in a loving way campinspecter may have more good days behind him then in front of him.. if he’s not available. You need a plumber or handyman you have to pay per hour to fix, since parts available there are PEX maybe switch or have parts knowledge to do some
Old men; my way worked for 65 years darn it!
Question do you have 65 years left? 2 days travel to fix a shut off valve really? Gods given you a fixed unknown amount of time on earth and you spent 2 days on a shut off valve?

if not appropriate let me know I’ll delete maybe PM be more appropriate

realize written word is one of my many weaknesses as well as bible verses

so in short where I am; not always fun when creator changes your heart you need to improve and be better example. Not trials of Job but still outside comfort zone and being stubborn man don’t always listen the my way .. highway .. felt it needed to be said

would rather say good morning :coffee::grizz:
