    30, clear, and just a really nice day. Supposed to hit low 60's this afternoon.

    White oak uglies in the boiler. Something in the house called for heat last night...the boiler was 100 when I turned back on this morning.

    Raining moderate but steady 3+ inches for the last three days. 48* out and burning Doug Fir splits and bark to keep the damp out. Not so much for heat. :fire:

    I'm now on Cape Cod Massachusetts for the next couple of days. Partly cloudy and 49 degrees, humidity 45% with winds at 10 mph out of the WNW.
    Supposed to dip down into the mid 30's which is cool for here for this time of year. All we have here is a NG fireplace insert for ambience mostly though it will cook you out of the living room in a hurry! Have some chores to do here. Family year round vacation home of which I have somehow become the caretaker. (for the last 8 years)

    Everyone stay warm and Burn on!

    51 now, with high 60’s the next couple days. Down into the thirties by Monday, then a bounce back to the sixties. A warning to keep getting the wood in. I cut a maple tree top into rounds and branches the past two days. Should get us through

    Snowed but most of it melted due to ground temps. Beginning tonight, we won't be so lucky. 8" predicted.
