Stopped by Ace after work today to get some mouse traps and found a sweet Stihl labeled 5 gallon bucket. The awesomeness didn't stop there as on my way home, about a few blocks away from Ace I spot a Mexican tree crew finishing loading what appeared to locust. I quickly cut across a few lanes and pulled up and sure enough these guys cut a few smaller honey locust down in a bank parking lot. After a bit of a language barrier I found they were going to dump the larger pieces so got them to dump it in my Cherokee instead. Small, small score (longer log is 6') but great wood and cost me all of 5 min to get.
It's all BTUs. Locust adds to the BTUs in the stack pretty fast . Cool bucket too. Will make a nice wood cutting tool bucket, or great trash can in the "man cave"
