45/69 heading for freezing overnight. I've listened to the ng boiler run enough. Started a fire.

 

I've had three or four first inside in the stove so far. Currently burning ash. 40° outside. 77° in the stove room.

Had traces of snow the other day. Nothing that accumulated-just enough to identify it as it collected on your sleeves before melting almost immediately.

The jet stream is doing battle with the cold, so we had a pleasant overnight/morning.
Sitting at 7C/44F, pine kindling only to chase the chill away.
