Have a Harman TL300 stove at camp and just recently have been experiencing difficulty opening the top door…lever/handle on left side is very stiff or hard to pull whereas before you barely had to touch it and the trap door would fall and then you could proceed to open top plate to load with wood…. Removed decorative side panel to gain access to gears to see if there were any visible rusting that would cause the stiffness/hard to pull/open the top plate…any ideas or recommendations on how to fix???

Looks like nobody has suggestions. Sorry.

I would try to contact a dealer or the company.

Have any pics of the problem area?
Without seeing what you are working with, I think I'd spray some penetrating oil on the pivot and try to work it in

Unfortunately no pics due to it being at camp which is 90 mins from me…. Plan on taking penetrating oil, copper anti-seize, and a grinder
