Morning all. Dark, wet and windy this morning. Short walk with the dog as we are heading out for work on the car. Bug deflector and proper rubber mats.
Have to get back quickly as we have a Communion Service tonight for the start of Sabbath.

I live probably twenty minutes from there.

 

Tomorrow afternoon our church is having its yearly Trunk or Treat event. This year they are having a petting zoo (Don't know who is providing animals or what animals) and a fire pit. I am providing the wood for it and someone else is bringing their portable firepit. I have a couple large rubbermade totes filled with some oak and some shoulder wood in the car. Hope it doesn't rain.

Woodwidow great game 1 last night...

 

We didn't watch it as it was Sabbath and we were at a church meeting. After Sabbath tomorrow, we will watch the end of the second game.

Good morning. It’s been a week of morning and evening fires with the arrival of typical seasonal weather. I have work around the yard and garden’s planned for today, and what looks to be great weather to get it a lot of it done.

Morning all. Dark and windy on our dog walk this morning. Rain expected later today. Mudslide closed the road to a community and a popular wilderness hiking area. We have had a lot of rain in a short period of time. Rivers are all running high right now.

19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Ephesians 5:19, 20

We all need encouragement in our walk with the Lord. Gathering together to sing, worship together and give thanks to our Creator, Redeemer and Saviour uplifts the mind and takes the focus away from our trials and troubles and makes our heart glad. Take time today to give thanks to the Lord and give an encouraging word and smile to someone you meet today.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 56⁰ now, high of 65⁰, cloudy. Another 6AM-6PM shift of cooking dirt, board meeting tonight at church. Looks like some more unscheduled OT was added to the plate yesterday, coworker has been having gallbladder issues, had emergency surgery yesterday morning, so we get to cover his shifts for awhile. Maybe this will help the stump grinder off.
