First Husqvarna for me. Picked up his 550xp yesterday for $300. Came with two “20 Sugi bars, one in good shape and one only used a couple times. 3 “20 chains one maybe sharpened a couple times and the other two are brand new. Saw is ported and polished by Steve’s Saw shop in Lolo Montana. Is anybody familiar with that shop? Can’t wait to get it in some wood later today !

Should be a sweet saw. Sounds like a good deal to me

Got my Husqvarna 550 into some wood today. Here’s some pics of it eating through some 18” Ash logs. Had no problem with the bar almost completely buried bucking and noodling. Can’t wait to get some more trigger time on it!

If that’s ported it should be able to run full comp no issue.

Looks like a MK1, I have the MK2 and love it although I been doing as much cutting as I have in the past. Great saw and will serve you well. Or, maybe I should say those saws suck and you should get rid of it as soon as possible. Being a stand up like I am I would take it off your hands so something to keep in mind.

Thanks Stephiedoll . The more u use it the more I like it. It handles a 20” bar very well. I’m still getting used to the starting procedure as it’s quite a bit different than my Stihl saws
