I remember when you just had to dial the last 4 digits, but 3 was before my time I think.

 

We had 3 digits for local numbers. It was also a party line shared with 2 neighboring families

 

We had a party line too. I don't remember how many other families. If I remember correctly, the first 3 digits were the same for everyone on the line.

 

Earliest phone number I remember was 23 and Minnie Larson was the phone operator

 

3 digit phone numbers is what I remember the earliest. Party lines..........

 

Original mail pouch thermometers are bringing stupid money.

 

It sure if this counts but my patio is my woodshed during the winter and that where I have my old beer/soda machine.

 

Pretty cool. Looks like a nice place to sit and relax, although i'd need a coffee maker!
