Finally got a couple of day away for some camping and fishing weather was perfect lows in the high 30's highs in the 60's caught a few small trout ( Really need to work on my fly fishing ) The "New truck and camper worked good"
Perfect "bachelor" set up assuming you went alone. A bad day fishing is better than a good day working.
Another picture from my trip Yeah went by myself the camper worked out real well picked it up from the original owners it is a 1985 it is in real good condition everything works and I needed a couple of days of quiet .
The lake I was at is in Sullivan county Hunter's run lake it is managed by the fish commission it has a real nice boat launch electric motor only and the flies were wooly bugger and a pattern that resembles a grub and some other mystery patterns (I am still learning fly fishing ) most of my fishing is spin fishing
I only have one year of fly fishing and fly tying experience myself. I finally caught my first brown trout and it was the first fish on a fly i made myself. That was really a great experience. The lake at the Altoona GTG had some beautiful fish in it.
