Half cord load of firepit wood. Mostly dead ash, sassafras and tulip poplar with a random mix of other cull/dead wood including a wheelbarrow of buggy apple. DSCF0132.JPG DSCF0131.JPG

Half cord load of red maple and cherry mix headed out tomorrow. Regular customer filling up his sheds over the last couple months with semi seasoned wood. This was C/S in February. Trying to set him up to buy loads of fresh split green wood over the Winter. DSCF0142.JPG DSCF0141.JPG

Well this guy is a pro! Right down to the vertical pieces to keep logs from falling out the side windows and a bed extension with logs in the rear , brilliant.

We went to Mohegan Sun couple weeks ago and that's when I spotted it. Don't go that way too often.

Pictures like this are what I think of, when people give me static about "overloading" my old square body.

I had forgotten about these few rounds that I couldn't fit on the trailer last winter. I just stacked them along the stump. Was in the area and picked them up. It's unreal how fast Hickory will start to decay out in the elements.

The guy wanted me to deliver 12 bundles of apple and hickory to Southington. I really didn't want to so I asked what he wanted and 1/4 cord of either and I offered hickory and he accepted inc. delivery fee.
I feel your pain selling primo BTU wood to outdoor burners.

Not overloaded, but that’s ok considering the 40 minute ride on the interstate to my coworker Scottish 80 ‘s house… RO, WO, and some maple from last year’s Helene.

A load of dead elm from my Target rich environment!!! that is the whole tree that is laying on the ground next to the saws before I started, minus the 2 bottom rounds that were getting a little soft in the middle and one crotchety piece about 3 foot long from the middle. 13” splits heading to a new customer. Oak, hickory, ash, beech, red maple, apple, elm, cherry, and black birch. I think that’s everything

    That’s quite the menagerie.

Did you label each species so they can catalog how each one burns & request their favorites in the future ?
