Morning all. Overcast with rain this morning. I think it is going to be this way all day.
Cooking for a potluck tomorrow and getting some cleaning done. Head is still stuffed up but I feel fine.

MikeInMa when you think of how unlikely our teams were in April and May to get anywhere near the playoffs, it has been quite the season. we thought the Jays would have a season like last year.

Morning all Rain today. I think for most of the day. Big low pressure system off the coast. Good thing we did the outside work earlier in the week.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6: 33

We get caught up in the daily struggle to work, be with our families and live our lives. Quite often we feel that we are going under the stream of life instead of being on top. The Bible verse today reminds that there are more important things. Seeking God each morning and putting Him first each day allows God to work in our lives and provide for our needs. God wants us to live life abundantly as in John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
God wants to bless us abundantly but first we need to seek Him and His righteousness.

I hope to go for a morning walk. My achilles is finally coming around. I'm keeping walk to just a mile. Hoping to eventually lengthen back to two miles.

Good morning. Goin to my wife’s home church with her sister this morning. Should be a nice morning for drive to the countryside a ways south of us. The leaves are starting to display in earnest here.

 

Morning all. The first of the atmospheric rivers is over the coast this morning. Rain coming down and everything is wet. Fish need the rain to get up the rivers so I happy about that. Perfect day to watch baseball, football, do a little bookkeeping and maybe some sewing.

MikeInMa I guess we find out today if the Blue Jays are on top of the division. Such a close race.

T.Jeff Veal We didn't watch the game but I looked up the score after Sabbath. Too bad they lost.

Yep, we were sure disappointed last night. Seems Ala always has the DAWGS number. Guess they had to lose at home sometime...had a streak of 33 home games won, I think.
