Very few times have I messed up putting the flip caps on correctly, but it does happen. More like I get distracted and as I’m ripping the pull cord, all at once I smell gas or oil as I remember mid pull I don’t remember putting the caps on at all. The up side is the mix has help clean the bar oil off as they waterfall all over creation.

I've seen a few sitting on the shelf at a store like that... Either the new guy getting all the low end assembly work or a veteran prankster at work... LOL

Those had RC plane engines in them if I recall. Made by a company called O&R. In fact, O&R made the saws.

They also made a cute little generator called the tiny tiger. I saw one at an antique tractor and engine show.

Just curious TJV, have you ever tried a Mingo Marker? I find it a very fast way to mark firewood for bucking. Watching you bend over a lot to make saw marks made me appreciation mine a little more.
Your Echo's sound great. That little pocket rocket is awesome.

No, I never tried the Mingo Markers. I usually cut off the forks on the tractor, but I was having to sort a trailer load of mixed logs with the grapple, that's why the logs were on the ground. I really like the Accu-mark gauges we had, they stick on the bar and big washer fits in saw kerf. Sadly the 18" got lost and later found with lawn mower...16" was on Blue Samson and a round fell off the lift, bounced and broke the stem in half.
Thanks for the compliment on the saws, I really like those.
