Me, I would have went wider and higher, rather than longer. A second floor would make great use of the view.

Hello Steve. I hope you are able to get in a few more rides this fall. It looks now like the cool weather will be returning this weekend and much cooler by the end of the month. 48 years of marriage is something to be proud of. Congratulations. Continue being grateful. This morning I spent time thanking the Lord for all He has given me. I sort of feel like Job in that not that long ago I lost so much and didn't even have a home. Now I am amazed at what we have, thanks be to God.

After I posted that I didn't see any, I realized that I was just late and they were over by the time I went outside. Typically they just start to get going at least like 11-11:30. Usually nothing until midnight or later.

I just hope when I go up north to get the camper and hunting land ready that there's some borealis going then. There's zero light pollution up there.

I don't know where else to put this vid link but first a back story. I have a buddy, in his early 80's now, who is a genius. He owns his own machine shop, he's a bench rest rifle competition shooter, hot rodder, boater, chainsaw collector and on and on. He is always designing and building things. Used to race snowmobiles so he built his own dyno for them. Raced boats so he built an outboard dyno. He hardly sleeps. Lol. One of his inventions even got him in the book of world records for the worlds slowest machine or something like that. All gears it was. 1 revolution in thousands of years if I recall. Anyway, he's been playing with high pressure air and after doing what you will see in this vid himself and somehow managing to not die, he asked his lanscape guy if he wanted to try it. Keep in mind the guy hasn’t seen this before but my buddy explained to him what was going to happen. Luckily, he didn't get hurt.

He became airborne and flew over the bricks and flowers. Landed between the house and that landscape feature somewhere. lol. My buddy felt so bad he handed him a $100 bill.
