Let’s have a safe heating season
Let’s all make sure our wood stoves/chimneys are cleaned out and in safe working order
If you use a furnace change your filters and make sure the furnace flue is good to go
Lastly make sure your dryer and vent is clean of lint

All ready here. Not rushing it though. The weather in south central PA has been absolutely stellar lately. Wish we could hit the pause button on that or at least slow it down.

I removed the "pretty wood"(white birch) from the stove. In its place, I built a fire waiting to be lit.

The birch is there to show through the stove glass. It removes the "black hole".

It's easier to move when empty.

I'll get to filling it up, when I get to it.
