    Hey..thanks for the rattle ! Never seen...in person...sap at 9% right out of the tree. Never even heard of it that high ! That would be something to see !

    In my woods....my highest was 4% out of a sugar maple....maybe 1.5-2% out of a red. 9% is unheard of around here. Very cool!

    I've got a mountain banjo made outta red oak but it's clearly red oak unlike whatever I have pictured lol. I'm curious who's making them outta the hybrid oaks? Would like to see one.
