    Unreal, a newer home east of us (long story, hangs out in wasted drunk and pot neighbors garage. WWW use to go there years ago but it became stupid. Holy Cow the newer guy (60 y/o) ran down then ran over a wild horse that had a foal on his quad runner . The wild horse place took the foal in and is doing their best. Makes me sick. Who wakes up and ends up killing a mother mare at 9 am?!?

    Though we heard the rumors, our Sheriff's dept posted and newpaper did an article about it yesterday. Can't say he doesn't deserve the front page mugshot picture.

    I don't understand people who get a kick out of things like that. Hunting, I understand. Protecting livestock and such, I understand. Accidents I understand. Just wanton intentional killing, and not even cleanly, is the work of a sick mind.

    Not gonna lie. I put hand warmers in my gloves for the ride in this morning. Coldest spot was 43°.

    Wish rain would wake me up some time - I really need it. I haven't mowed for over a month and my water bill was actually for the next tier up from watering the two raised gardens.

    Thought I was going to get rain yesterday from all the thunder booming. But in the end, it sprinkled just enough that there was a line of moisture that dripped off the roof.

    We'll have more than 2 dozen people showing up today for cookout, games and visiting.

    The rest of the morning will be spent "setting up" tables, chairs, grills, umbrellas, games, and whatever else suits 99 lbs fancy!

    Good thing the bugs aren't bothersome during the day.
