Wife said she wanted the deck redon. New deck for her,new woodshed for guess who. More pics as things progress. You folks are a bad influence because of being here and reading all the things you have done. I would not have it any other way

Reclaimed wood is the best. Best price too.

Glad to be of assistance WP! :D :handshake:

Be sure to post pics as demo and builds progress. Just remember you can never build a shed big enough.

IMG_20250828_175611.jpg IMG_20250828_175605.jpg Just in... a friend of mine found out I was going to build a wood shed out of reclaimed deck lumber and asked if I wanted some more. BSB said reclaimed was the best also free. Told him yes I would love to take it off his hands.

I still have a couple of boards and a ladder from a wood swing set from the 70ies.

Yes, reclaimed wood is great for a wood shed!

How big of a wood shed are you thinking?

My original shed held eight cords of bundle wood. Two years ago was the original build. I added the third bay to hold another four cords plus a side bump out for another cord and a half. The bays are for nice bundle wood splits. (I never finished the most recent additions from last Winter.) Typical for me as much as I hate to admit it.:emb:

14x10 or maybe 16x10 depends on the wood supply I have left after demo.

Some wood is bad but most of the wood looks doable .

This is just for me. I don't sell wood but I understand the hoarding end of it. More wood.:woodsign::stacker::axe:

I made mine 3 bays, each 10' x 8' x 7' at lowest. I think for firewood storage, I made it big enough. But I might add a bay lean to on the end for tractor/ splitter storage. There's room on the one end..
